Spending El Eid far from the family or Ramadan makes you feel that something is missing...Such occasions without those who care for you the most & love you most of all is meaningless...
Here I am with someone who joined the family lately, so welcome Youcef to the gang!!! hahahaha...i guess it's his first Eid celebration...How nice!!!
Another picture shows some home made delicious cakes!!! em YUMMY!!! It's part of our traditions to clean the house before Ramadan & El Eid (over-cleaning at times)and make cakes to welcome the visitors during the day of Eid...
Cheers & happy Eid Ul-Fitr.

a Friend's Poem
"Ramadan"
In the holly month people all over the world fast.
Abstaining from self desires from dawn to dusk.
Strength and purification for the soul , heart and mind.
Hoping to remove the dress of sins and leave it behind.
By asking allah forgiveness for our sins and mistakes.
Pray day and night that's for own sake reading KORAN.
Gain piety , blessings and drown closer to god in this month.
Ramadan brings us closer to god ,we gain piety and a feeling of relief
But when it's gone , all muslims are left with a feeling of grief.
Many thanks to "Sadness Dark" for this poem, may Allah gratify us with his blessing & grant us an internal life in paradise...

Timimoun
Hi There!
These are some of my city pictures, in which you would see "the entrance gate" of Timimoun; the Palm trees Plantation; and a picture from over "Gourarra Hotel" (which has a bad reputation-anyway) and one we took from a cliff in a Suburb area "un KSAR".
Another picture is simply an irrigation system for supplying fields with water we call it "Kasriya" it's a meeting point where water gathers and is distributed to different fields...
Hope u like them...

A new school year (2009 / 2010)
Today we got back to school, the holidays are officially over...It's still hard to get back to the same rhythm, but little by little our "motors" will get back to work again.
It's great to meet those shiny, troublesome faces again...
I wish this school year would be better, more hard work, better results & marvelous achievements...Ameen
